Private insurance giant Bajaj Allianz will send five teenagers from India to this year's annual Junior Football Camp (JFC), scheduled to be held in Munich in Germany in August.
The participants will be selected through a selection process conducted in 120 cities across the country, company officials told a press meet here today.
"The company has launched the selection process for its annual Junior Football Camp for the fourth consecutive year. This year, five teenagers will be selected from 120 cities in India from over 800 schools for the event," said Reghunath R, Divisional Manager & State Coordinator, JFC, (Bajaj Allianz Lic Ltd).
He said the JFC would provide selected teenagers from across the world, between the ages of 14-16 years, an opportunity to meet and train with the legendary footballers.
About 45,000 youngsters are targetted during this year's selection process, the official added.
