Bajaj Auto motorcycle sales down 6% in November

The company had sold 278,703 units in the corresponding month of previous year

Bajaj Auto on Tuesday reported six per cent decline in motorcycle sales at 26,194 units in November 2014.

The company had sold 278,703 units in the corresponding month of previous year, Bajaj Auto Ltd (BAL) said in a statement.

BAL said exports were up 23.93 per cent during the month at 165,733 units as compared to 133,731 units in November 2013.

In the commercial vehicles category, its sales stood at 47,311 units, up 48.36 per cent, against 31,888 units in the same month of the previous year.

The total vehicle sales of the company during last month stood at 309,259 units, marginally down by 0.42 per cent, against 310,591 units in the same month a year ago, the statement added.
