It had posted a standalone net profit of Rs 54.25 crore in the January-March quarter of 2015-16, Bajaj Corp Ltd said in a BSE filing.
Its total income during the period under review was down by 2.03 per cent at Rs 204.54 crore as against Rs 208.78 crore in the corresponding quarter a year-ago.
The company's total expenses were up 3.91 per cent to Rs 139.71 crore as against Rs 134.45 crore.
For the financial year ended on March 31, 2017, Bajaj Corp's standalone net profit stood at Rs 220.95 crore, up 11.60 per cent, as against Rs 197.98 crore of 2015-16.
Shares of Bajaj Corp today closed 1.86 per cent higher at Rs 428.85 apiece on BSE.
