The company had posted a net loss of Rs 10.65 crore for the January-March quarter of the previous fiscal, Bajaj Electricals said in a filing to the BSE.
Bajaj Electricals' net sales were Rs 1,301.46 crore during the quarter under review, up 3.07 per cent, as against Rs 1,262.64 crore in the same period of 2013-14.
The company said revenues from the lighting business declined by 8.60 per cent to Rs 271.89 crore during the period under review as against Rs 297.48 crore in the year-ago period.
Revenues from engineering and projects segment were up 12.09 per cent to Rs 493.55 crore in the quarter under review as against Rs 440.28 crore in the year-ago period.

During 2014-15 fiscal, Bajaj Electricals' net loss widened to Rs 13.95 crore from a net loss of Rs 5.31 crore in the year-ago period.
However, net sales during fiscal 2014-15 were at Rs 4,237.48 crore, up 5.61 per cent, against Rs 4,012.10 crore a year ago.
Shares of Bajaj Electricals were trading higher 2.98 per cent at Rs 271.65 on BSE during afternoon trade.
