Bajra extends gains on rising demand
Press Trust of India New Delhi In restricted activity, bajra prices rose by another Rs 10 per quintal at the wholesale grains market today on rising demand from consuming industries amid lower arrivals from producing region.
However, other grains including wheat held steady in limited.
Traders said rising demand in the face of restricted supplies from producing regions mainly kept bajra prices higher.
In the national capital, bajra advanced by Rs 10 to Rs 1,300-1,305 per quintal.
