However, other grains moved in a narrow range in scattered trade and settled around previous levels.
Traders said subdued demand from consuming industries against sufficient stocks coupled with increased supplies from producing belts kept pressure on bajra prices.
In the national capital, bajra fell further by Rs 20 to Rs 1,190-1,195 per quintal.
