Bajra strengthens on pick up in demand

In restricted activity, bajra prices were up by Rs 20 per quintal at the wholesale grains market today following pick up in demand from consuming industries.
However, other grains held steady in thin trade.
Traders said rising demand from consuming industries against restricted arrivals from producing belts, kept bajra prices higher.
In the national capital, bajra advanced by Rs 20 to Rs 1,345-1,350 per quintal.
