Bajra weakens on higher supply; other grains steady
Press Trust of India New Delhi Barring a fall in bajra prices on increased supplies against reduced offtake by consuming industries, other grains held steady at the wholesale grains market today in the absence of worthwhile activity.
Traders said easing demand from consuming industries against adequate stocks position mainly kept pressure on bajra prices.
In the national capital, bajra declined by Rs 15 to Rs 1,190-1,195 per quintal.

Wheat MP (desi) 2,150-2,530, Wheat dara (for mills) 1,490-1,495, Chakki atta (delivery) 1,500-1,505, Atta Rajdhani (10 kg) 220, Shakti Bhog (10 kg) 220, Roller flour mill 840-850 (50 kg), Maida 870-880 (50 kg) and Sooji 980-1,000 (50 kg).
