Bajra prices eased by Rs 5 per quintal in an otherwise steady wholesale grains market today following lower demand from consuming industries.
However, other grains including wheat and rice basmati moved in a tight range in limited deals and settled around previous levels.
Traders said besides lower demand from consuming industries, adequate stocks position in the market mainly kept pressure on bajra prices.
In the national capital, bajra shed Rs 5 to Rs 1,165-1,170 per quintal.
