Ban on traffic from Nepal during polls

No traffic will be allowed to enter Uttar Pradesh from Nepal for two days before polling till the evening of the elections, according to official sources.
The decision was taken at a meeting held between the district border coordination committee of India and Nepal at SSB's sixth batallion headquarters, the sources said.
Nepalese officials assured all possible help on an appeal from Indian officials for assistance during the Lok Sabha elections, the sources said.
The sale of liqour would remain suspended in Nepal during these days, they said.
