Hurriyat leaders have called for strike on April 2 against the visit of Modi to the state, when he will dedicate to the nation the country's longest road tunnel between Kashmir Valley and Jammu.
The tunnel will reduce the journey duration between Jammu and Srinagar by two hours.
"If anybody has problems, he or she is exposing himself to the entire world about their real intensions, their intention is not to ensure or seek development of Jammu and Kashmir, their intention is only to play politics by other means.
He said the inauguration of the tunnel is a matter of pride for every Indian and people of the state as it will be a "game changer" in terms of revenue generation and ease of doing business, apart from reducing journey time.
