The petitioner further alleged that police had not taken any action despite the Chief Minister's specific directions on Oct 17, 2012 to Director General of Police that the complaint was 'serious' and that immediate action should be taken against the persons concerned.
He also alleged he had been threatened that his family would be annihilated and his wife and daughter raped.
Kuruvilla said the statement was received by a woman constable who allegedly made some changes in material particulars. When this was asked, the SI told him to 'keep quiet'.
Justice V K Mohanan, before whom the petition came up, posted the case to next Tuesday for preliminary hearing.
