Identified as Mohammad Ali, the person was found wandering around near the shooting range located near the international air terminus, they said.
Investigation revealed that he arrived in Delhi on a valid Bangladesh passport and had visited some north Indian states, before coming to Tamil Nadu, they said.
Interrogations are continuing as to how he found his way to the shooting range, being used by the Army and Central Police Forces here with some maps, they added.
