"Reshma has started work as the Public Area Ambassador of the Housekeeping Department here," a spokesman Hotel Westin told PTI.
"It is not important what Reshma could deliver us, rather it is important what we can offer to her and the country," Westin's managing director Noor Ali said during a function organised at the hotel to hand over her appointment letter.
Reshma, who was trapped in the rubble for 17 days after an illegally-built eight-story building collapsed at suburban Savar, was yesterday discharged from the hospital after nearly a month of treatment.
"I feel great now. I am recovered mentally and physically," newspapers quoted her as saying.

She admitted she was still troubled by nightmares about her ordeal beneath the wreckage of the collapsed building.
She thanked her rescuers and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina who immediately visited the hospital to see her.
Reshma earlier said she was unwilling to work as a garment worker because of lack of safety and low salary.
Hospital officials said rain waters and food from dead co-workers' lunch boxes kept her alive for 17 days but Reshma yesterday told reporters she forgot most of what she did under the rubble.
Officials said at least 176 people were still missing.
