The girl, who hails from Joshur district of Bangladesh was offered some job in India and brought to Kolkata on December 17 last year. She worked for a while in Kolkata and Mumbai and was brought to Kerala after her local guardian was offered money, police said.
She was kept in illegal custody in a house at nearby Aluva by the three accused, including a woman, for immoral trafficking. The girl was also taken to different places, they said.
Police and local persons in the area got suspicious as vehicles used to come to the house at odd hours. The house was put under surveillance and was raided this morning and arrests made, Aluva Circle Inspector, Jayakrishnan, told PTI.
The girl is presently with the child-line and would be transferred to a rescue home after being produced in the court.
The accused also used to solicit customers through internet, police said.
Cases under relevant sections of IPC, Immoral Traffic Prevention Act and Information Technology act have been registered against the three accused. Laptop and modem have been been seized from the house, police said.
