Bangladeshi held with gold jewellery at airport

A Bangladeshi national was today arrested at the airport here after gold jewellery weighing 1.8 kg was found in his handbag, the police said.
The man, identified as 30-year-old Kabir Hussain, landed here from Kuala Lumpur by an Air Asia flight late last night and was arrested today.
During checking, the jewellery--chain, locket, ring and bracelet-- were found in his handbag.
The items were wrapped with tapes, the police said.
