Banks' representative has confirmed the news that she has registered the police complaint at the Beverly Hills Police Department following the incident which happened on October 15, reported E! Online.
The rapper decided to file a complaint when she did not receive any apology from Crowe, 52.
Banks, in a Facebook post, claimed that the Oscar-winning actor physically abused her when she was attending a party at his suite.
"To recap my night, I went to a party at Russell Crowe's suite, at which he called me N-word, choked me, threw me out and spat at me.
However, the posts were later deleted by Banks.
It's still unclear what actually happened or if the claims made by Banks are true. Crowe has not yet commented on the rapper's accusation.
