Barak Football Club sails into NSF Martyrs' Memorial semis

Defending champions Barak Football Club Dimapur today sailed into final of the ongoing 16th edition of NSF Martyrs' Memorial Trophy organised by Angami Students' Union (ASU) on the theme "Goal for Peace" at Kohima Local Ground.
Playing an exciting first semi-final match of the tourney, Barak FC blanked visiting team from Manipur, Senapati FC by 2-0.
Barak's skipper Tingyek Konyak netted the first goal in the 41st minute off a penalty spot kick resulting out of a hand-ball inside the danger zone.
The final goal for the home team came in through Tepongmeren Kichu in the injury added time of the second half.

In the second semi-final match tomorrow, Khulioh King FC Tuensang will clash against Pro-Streax United Dimapur at 1:30 pm.
