Barley edges up on increased offtake
Press Trust of India New Delhi Barring a rise in barley prices on increased offtake by consuming industries, other grains held steady at the wholesale grains market today.
Traders said increased offtake by consuming industries amid restricted supplies from producing regions mainly led to the rise in barley prices.
In the national capital, barley went up by Rs 10 to Rs 1,260-1,270 per quintal.

Wheat MP (desi) 2,350-2,700, Wheat dara (for mills) 1,580-1,585, Chakki atta (delivery) 1,585-1,590, Atta Rajdhani 10 kg) 220, Shakti Bhog (10 kg) 220, Roller flour mill 825-830 (50 kg), Maida 890-900 (50 kg) and Sooji 1,000-1,010 (50 kg).
