Barley edges up on rise in demand
Press Trust of India New Delhi In restricted activity, barley prices inched up by Rs 10 per quintal at the wholesale grains market today due to pick up in demand from consuming industries.
However, other grains held steady in thin trade.
Traders said uptick in demand from consuming industries mainly attributed the rise in barley prices.
In the national capital, barley rose by Rs 10 to Rs 1,575-1,595 per quintal.
