Barley remains weak on reduced offtake

In restricted activity, barley prices fell further by Rs 10 per quintal at the wholesale grains market today due to reduced offtake by consuming industries.
However, other grains moved in a narrow range in limited deals and settled around previous levels.
Traders said reduced offtake by consuming industries against sufficient stocks position kept pressure on barley prices.
In the national capital, barley declined by Rs 10 to Rs 1,430-1,440 per quintal.
