Barley slips on muted demand
Press Trust of India New Delhi In restricted activities, barley prices fell by Rs 10 per quintal at the wholesale grains market today on tepid demand from consuming industries.
However, other grains held steady in thin trade.
Traders said subdued demand from consuming industries mainly weighed on barley prices.
In the national capital, barley declined by Rs 10 to Rs 1,450-1,460 per quintal.
