Baroda, Surat freights rise on tight availability of trucks

Freight rates for nine-tonne pay load section for Baroda and Surat rose by Rs 1,000 in the local truck transport market today on tight availability of trucks against pick-up in cargo movements.
Transporters said tight position of trucks against increased cargo movements mainly pushed up Baroda and Surat freight rates.
Delhi to Surat and Baroda freight rates moved up by Rs 1,000 each to Rs 25,000 and Rs 23,000, respectively.
