Base metal drops on reduced demand

Most of the base metals including copper, select brass, tin and nickel prices dropped at the non-ferrous metal market here today due stockists selling amid reduced demand from industrial users.
Tin and Nickel fell by Rs 10 per kg each to Rs 1,570 and Rs 790 from Thursday's level of Rs 1,580 and Rs 800.
Copper scrap heavy declined by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 375 from Rs 380.
Copper cable scrap and copper wire bar dipped by Rs 3 per kg to Rs 387 and Rs 415 as against Rs 390 and Rs 418.
Copper armiture and copper utensils scrap moved down by Rs 2 per kg each to Rs 359 and Rs 335 compared to Rs 361 and Rs 337, respectively.
Copper sheet cutting and brass sheet cutting softened by Re 1 per kg each to Rs 356 and Rs 300, respectively.
However, Zinc and Lead moved up by Rs 2 per kg each to Rs 235 and Rs 142, respectively.
