The industrial metals fell at the London Metal Exchange (LME) as downbeat manufacturing data from the euro zone, the US and China showed stuttering growth momentum in the top markets for metals.
Nickel dropped by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 1,045 from Monday's closing level of Rs 1,050.
Copper sheet cutting declined by Rs 4 per kg to Rs 456 from Rs 460 and Copper armiture moved down by Rs 3 per kg to Rs 460 from Rs 463.
Copper cable scrap, copper wire bar, brass utensils scrap, brass sheet cutting, aluminium utensils scrap, zinc and lead all softened by a rupee per kg each to Rs 479, Rs 507, Rs 321, Rs 331, Rs 112, Rs 141 and Rs 134 respectively.
