Globally, industrial metal copper swung higher in volatile early trade at the London Metal Exchange, worries over Greek debt and China's growth hammered it to six-year lows, buoyed by a weaker dollar and stabilisation in other commodity markets.
Nickel and tin declined by Rs 20 per kg each to Rs 895 and Rs 1095 from tuesday's closing level of Rs 915 and Rs 1115.
Copper cable, copper scrap heavy, copper armiture, copper utensils, copper wire bar and copper sheets cuttings dipped by Rs 8 per kg each to Rs 422, Rs 415, Rs 407, Rs 380, Rs 442 and Rs 400 respectively.
Brass utensils scrap softened by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 295 as compared to Rs 297 previously and zinc inched down by Rs 169.
