Globally, copper changed a little on early trade, as hopes grew that Greece could reach a deal with creditors and as China's stockmarkets stabilised after the week's tumultuous rout. Three-month copper on the London Metal Exchange traded flat at USD 5,626 a tonne by 0043 GMT.
Nickel rallied by Rs 10 per kg to Rs 910 from Thursday's closing level of Rs 900.
Copper scrap heavy advanced by Rs 3 per kg to Rs 424 as compared to Rs 421 previously and brass utensils scrap also firmed up by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 297.
However, tin prices declined by Rs 10 per kg to Rs 1,115 from overnight closing level of Rs 1,125.
