Base metals rebound on fresh demand

Most of the base metals prices rebounded at the non-ferrous metal market here today due to stockists buying amid fresh demand from industrial users.
Copper utensils and copper sheet cuttings prices gained by Rs 4 per kg each to Rs 352 and Rs 369 from Tuesday's closing level of Rs 348 and Rs 365.
Copper cable scrap, copper scrap heavy, copper armiture, copper wire bar and aluminium ingots moved up by Rs 2 per kg each to Rs 382, Rs 376, Rs 372, Rs 410 and 139 as compared to Rs 380, Rs 374, Rs 372, Rs 408 and Rs 137, respectively.
Brass utensils scrap and aluminium utensils inched up by a Re per kg each to Rs 287 and Rs 115 previously.
However, zinc declined by Rs 10 per kg to Rs 195 from Rs 205 and tin eased by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 1,270 as against to Rs 1,275 yesterday.
Lead softened by a Re per kg to Rs 130.
