A photo of the purported pamphlet, carrying pictures of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Environment Minister Imran Hussain, was posted on Twitter by Mishra, who said he would approach the Election Commission against the AAP.
Terming the pamphlet "fake", Hussain tweeted that he would immediately approach the police.
"A fake pamphlet was prepared with my picture on it. I am immediately lodging a complaint with the police. And I demand strictest action in this case," the minister tweeted.
The BJP was quick to latch on to the issue.
"The pamphlet was widely distributed by the AAP in Muslim-dominated areas of the Bawana assembly constituency," Delhi BJP president Manoj Tiwari alleged.
