"The Great Gatsby" helmer Baz Luhrmann is in negotiation to adapt the classic western martial arts show that originally starred David Carradine, reported Ace Showbiz.
No other details are available yet, but the current screenplay is written by "Black Swan" scribe John J McLaughlin.
If Luhrmann finalizes the deal, he will have to do a rewrite first before proceeding with the project.
The original series followed a Shaolin monk named Caine who came to the American Old West armed only with his spiritual training and his skill in martial arts in search of his half brother.
