Police said they are yet to establish the reason behind her death and no suicide note has been recovered from her body or the room.
The deceased has been identified as Geeta who lived with her family. She was a BBA student pursuing her course from a private college of the district.
"Geeta's body was found hanging from the ceiling fan this morning. We have not recovered any suicide note from the spot. However, police are investigating the case from all angles", said a senior police officer.
