BCSBI appoints Anand Aras as CEO

Banking Codes and Standards Board of India (BCSBI) has appointed Anand Aras as its Chief Executive Officer.
Aras will replace N Raja, BCSBI said in a release here today.
Aras, a post graduate in law and a certified associate of Indian Institute of Banking and Finance, has 32 years of experience with the HSBC Group having managed critical positions in retail and commercial banking, internal audit and running centralised processing units.

Bank of Baroda introduces 'Maharaja Sayajirao Bhasha Samman' * In a bid to encourage usage of Hindi, State-run Bank of Baroda today said it has introduced 'Maharaja Sayajirao Bhasha Samman'.
The award will be conferred upon such a person every year who has made significant contribution for creating awareness and spreading Hindi among public at large, the bank said in a release.

AskmeBazaar eyes to expand Next Day Delivery to 50 cities * E-commerce portal AskmeBazaar, today said it intends to offer its 'Next Day Delivery' (NDD) services to as many as 50 cities by the end of next month.

Zippr partners Commonfloor for quick listing of properties * Central location management service provider Zippr has tied up with housing portal Commonfloor.Com to allow quick and seamless listing of properties.
Zippr enables users to create and share short codes.
With this partnership, a user having Zippr code can list a property on CommonFloor through the Zippr app and provide its basic information, a statement said.
