BDC member held for threatening legislator

A block development committee member has been arrested for allegedly threatening UP Congress MLA Pradeep Mathur.
Sanjai, who had threatened the legislator, was arrested after his mobile number was traced, SSP Gulab Singh said.
Later, during interrogations, Sanjai told the police that he threatened the MLA as the overhead water tank being constructed in the village was not in proper place, the SSP said.
Based on a complaint from Mathur, a case has been booked against Sanjai.
