Media mogul Simon Cowell says he was not very bright in school and believes that being useless helps one get through it.
The 54-year old 'X Factor' boss said he dropped out of the school at the age of 16 but was lucky enough to have made 200 million pounds through his record labels and talent shows, reported Daily star.
"I didn't work hard when I was at school. I left at 16 and I didn't have any qualifications. I was useless. The secret is to be useless at school and then get lucky." Cowell said during a radio show.
However, Cowell has apparently been criticised by education campaigners for giving a discouraging advice to school pupils.
