The latest Beatles memorabilia includes handwritten instructions on the cartoon version of the Fab Four.
The items have hand-painted scenes from the 1968 adventure film in which the Fab Four -- John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr -- travel in the Yellow Submarine to Pepperland to save it from the music hating Blue Meanies, reported Daily Express.
Featuring hit songs such as 'All You Need is Love', 'Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds', 'Eleanor Rigby' and 'When I'm Sixty-Four', the animated feature showcased psychedelic imagery similar to that of 1960s icon Peter Max.
Many of the 80 cartoons that are up for sale were drawn by German illustrator Heinz Edelmann and will go under the hammer at Heritage Auctions in Los Angeles on November 20.
"The animation was groundbreaking and that coupled with the fact that the film was all about the biggest band in the world is what made it so iconic," said Auction house director Jim Lentz.
