The project was first announced during the visit of then Minister of state for Shipping Milind Deora here in 2013 December after including it in India's first lighthouse tourism policy, a release said here today.
But due to administrative reasons further action had come to a standstill.
The project was revived by Shashi Tharoor M P who took up the matter with Captain A M Surej, Director General of Lighthouse & Lightships who assured that the ground work would begin within couple of months, it said.
