'Beauty and the Beast' musical comes up with second season

The "Beauty and the Beast" musical, based on the Oscar-winning film of the same name, is returning with a second season after a successful debut last year.
Completely developed with the Indian talent, the Disney musical will see 100 of the best musical theatre performers from across the country.
The second season will be showcased in Mumbai (May) and Delhi (June).
"We are very excited to once again be bringing our spectacular stage musical Beauty and the Beast to Mumbai and Delhi by popular demand. The first season of the show last year, was an experiment in introducing a large scale Broadway-style musical to the country and it met with huge success.

"We are thrilled to have pioneered a new genre in live entertainment in India and to have been able to provide our audiences with the quality of entertainment experiences they deserve," said Siddharth Roy Kapur, MD of Walt Disney India.
