Bedi asks youth to celebrate Independence Day

Lt Governor Kiran Bedi today distributed prizes to students of various higher educational institutions proficient in sports and cultural activities, conducted by Directorate of Technical and Higher Education, on the occasion of International Youth day.
She also asked the youth to celebrate the Independence day jubilantly.
She said Puducherry had the potential to promote tourism on par with Goa.
Chief Minister V Narayanasamy presided.
Education Minister R Kamalakannan and K Lakshminarayanan MLA was among those who spoke.
