The former IPS officer also met tea and newspaper vendors in Krishna Nagar before taking out her roadshow and enquired about the kind of issues they were facing.
"Vardhan has given all his life to this area. This area (Krishna Nagar) will get two - both a cabinet minister and a CM," Bedi told reporters here.
"They were deprived of a CM last year but they will be privileged again to have a CM from this constituency itself," he said.
Asked if Bedi was fielded from Krishna Nagar as it is a safe seat, he said, "I think every seat is a safe seat for BJP. Ultimately, she had to contest from one seat. I don't see any reason or logic in it being a safe seat. After all, we are in politics so we will choose the best seat, what is wrong in that?.
