Bedi to conduct camp for budding spinners in Himachal

Indian spin legend Bishan Singh Bedi will be conducting a camp for budding spinners and wicket-keepers at Santoshgarh, UNA Ground in Himachal Pradesh from June 12 to July 6.
Former Test captain, Bedi will be incharge of the camp, which will be attended by cricketers in the age groups of under 14, 16 and 19 and support staff members from HPCA.
"It's a wonderful facility of HPCA and we are happy to be here. We will impart special training to the players of the camp focusing on their mental and physical skills and strengths," said Bedi in a release.
"The main aim of the camp would be to make the players mentally tough and teach them the techniques and skills needed to handle difficult situations in the game," he added.
BCCI secretary and HPCA president, Anurag Thakur said: "It's a great step towards teaching the finer nuances of the game to the players of the state under one of the legends of the game, the techniques developed under his dynamic leadership will help the youngsters to cope up with the challenges of modern day cricket in a better manner."
The following players in the age groups of under 14, 16 and 19 and support Staff members from HPCA will attend the camp: Prashant Raghu (WK), Rishab Charak (Spinner), Sahil Thakur (off-spinner), Shaurya Garg (Spinner), Ankit Sharma (WK), Sugam Parmar (off-spinner), Ayush Jamwal (Spinner), Lakshay (off-spinner), Vikram Thakur (Spinner), Shivam Sharma (Spinner), Ajay Sharma (off-spinner), Kartikey (off-spinner), Prithvi Raj (WK); Ashok Thakur (Coach), Dr. Sushant Rana (Physio).
