BEL records Rs 6,180 crore turnover in FY14

Navratna Defence PSU Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) today said it has ended the year 2013-14 with Rs 6,180 crore turnover (provisional), against Rs 6,012 crores during 2012-13.
BEL achieved exports worth USD 41.70 million in 2013-14, registering a growth of 27.21 per cent over the previous year's export turnover of USD 32.78 million, the company said in a release.
It said the company has a healthy order book of around Rs 23,200 crore and is all set to continue its good run in the next financial year.
BEL said some of the significant orders executed during the year include Weapon System for the Indian Air Force and Indian Army, Central Acquisition Radar, Low Level Light Weight Radar, Shipborne Electronic Warfare System, Low Intensity Conflict Electronic Warfare System, Missile Warning System, Passive Night Vision Devices and Electronic Voting Machine.
