Belgium lowers terror alert to second-highest level: minister

Belgium lowered its terror alert to the second-highest level today, two days after the triple suicide attacks at Brussels airport and on a subway train, Interior Minister Jan Jambon said.
The minister said on RTL television that the alert had been lowered from the maximum level of four to three on the suggestion of the group that evaluates the terror threat.
