A delegation of Medicover, a leading health organisation of Belgium, has evinced interest in establishing super specialty charitable hospitals at four places in Haryana, an official release said here today.
A delegation led by Director, Medicover, Felipe Velasquez called on the Haryana Health Minister, Anil Vij, the release said.
Felipe informed Vij that they have selected Haryana for establishing charitable hospitals in view of the unprecedented improvements made in the health sector during last few years.
The organisation has about 3,000 super specialty hospitals in India and across entire Europe, the Haryana government release further said.
Felipe said that under first phase, the organisation intends to establish such hospitals at Rohtak and Guugaon after which such hospitals would be established at Karnal and Ambala under second phase.
These hospitals would be completely charitable and would provide better medical services to poor and economically weaker sections of the society, the release said. The minister assured every possible assistance to the organisation, it added.
