Fans of the caped crusader are against Affleck, 41, and some of them have launched an online petition in a bid to force movie bosses at Marvel to find another Batman, but Lee insists the "Argo" star will do just fine, reported Contactmusic.
"He's a good actor and I wish him all the luck in the world. He'll probably do a good job as Batman," Lee said.
Affleck recently opened up about the controversy surrounding his casting and said, "I'm a big boy... They said just don't use the Internet for a couple of days... I'm very tough.
