The Oscar-tipped 'Imitation Game' actor sat with the museum's studio team for two sessions, with hundreds of measurements taken and photos captured for use by its sculptors and artists, who worked for months on the waxwork, said the Hollywood Reporter.
According to Tussauds, Cumberbatch's waxwork appearance is "premiere ready", showing him looking groomed in a dark suit donated by designer Spencer Hart.
