Industry minister Partha Chatterjee said the state government would offer one time assistance of Rs 8000 for powering pumpsets.
"Beside, this the state will offer between Rs 10,000 and Rs 45,000 for buying mechanised agri inputs through kisan credit cards," he said.
The Cabinet also approved general transfer policy for teachers and and non-teaching staff.
The state government approved an Indian Institute of Information Technology at Kalyani on 100 acre.
Chatterjee said Coal India, Rolta and JSW group have been selected and it would be seen how much stake each partner would take.
