Speaking at an interactive session organised by the Indian Chamber of Commerce here, Ghatak said under the scheme, the government would provide an assistance of Rs 1,500 to each worker of a locked-out industrial unit.
Ghatak claimed that in the last few years the government had maintained a harmonious industrial relation all through the state.
There had been no man-day lost in the state in the last few years because of strike, which proved that workers and trade unions were playing a responsible role in building a industry-friendly atmosphere in the state, the Minister said.
