Sandipan has been included for showing consistency in the Cooch Behar Trophy.
While Unmukt has been named captain, Akshdeep Nath will be his deputy. The most experienced player in the 15-member squad is Punjab medium pacer Sandeep Sharma who is likely to play his second colts World Cup. The team also has some of the U-19 regulars like Tamil Nadu's Baba Aparajith, Gujarat's Rush Kularia , Punjab's Manan Vohra and Delhi's left-arm spinner for last four seasons Vikas Mishra.
