Bengal to play 400th first class match tomorrow

When Manoj Tiwary leads his men against Baroda in Lahli tomorrow, Bengal team will reach a milestone as it will be their 400th first class match and 396th appearance in Ranji Trophy.
Cricket Association of Bengal Joint Secretary Avishek Dalmiya said: "I got it checked from the official statistician of BCCI. He has sent me a written reply today stating that Bengal's next match will be their 400th first class game and 396th Ranji Trophy tie. This is a wonderful thing."
"I wished Manoj (Tiwary) and wished him and the team the very best on behalf of the CAB. This is a proud moment for the Bengal team. I urged them to give the dominant performance they have been giving the whole season in this match. I a sure they will make this milestone match memorable," he added.
Bengal Coach Sairaj Bahutule said: "It is a milestone match for Bengal and the team will be charged up to perform. Avishek Dalmiya called me up and wished the whole team all the best.
