"I wear the look of a dignified, saree-clad woman living in a Bengali 'mohalla' of a city like Varanasi, which is steeped into traditions. I am eager for the outdoor shoot part in ghats of the spiritual city where I had never been," Srabonti told PTI on the sets of the film here.
"The film is a mixed bag having strands of comedy, romance, old family values. It's a simple tale which everyone can relate to," Srabonti, having delivered a string of hits in mainstream genre from 'Champion' to 'Bindaas', said.
"For that matter I don't believe in segmenting audiences into different brackets from urban niche to the mass segments. For me an audience is an audience," the Goynar Baksho actor in Aparna Sen's film largely based on women's identity issue, said.
"I have expectations from every film as I believe in adding a different twist to every role," she said.

Director Swarup Ghosh said it was the first ever mainstream genre Bengali film in recent times to be shot in Benaras. As the name suggests it is a romantic comedy bringing back the flavour of yesteryears."
Rituparna Sengupta performed a mujra type dance number in a special appearance in the film. "We needed someone as versatile as Ritudi for this number," Swarup said.
Currently being shot in the hundreds year old gothic-column Lakshi Sen heritage house in the city, the period look film will later be shot in 'Kashi' lane-bylanes.
